Thrive - Line Management Training
Aimed at first time and new line managers within start ups, scale ups and SME’s, our Thrive programme offers a modular approach to training and has been designed to upskill and provide practical skills and knowledge to set managers up for success.
The Thrive programme has been written by and is trained by HR professionals based on first-hand experience of supporting new line managers. We focus on practical solutions and frameworks to ensure that your line managers leave with a tool kit of knowledge and skills which they can use on a daily basis to support effective people management. Although some of the topics may seem dry, our training sessions are relaxed in style with plenty of delegate discussion and involvement, we like to ensure that you have fun whilst you learn.
Our Core Thrive programme consists of 4 modules delivered in-person or remotely over 5 x 120 minute sessions:
- Why managers matter and how they communicate
- Effective performance management (2 sessions)
- DE&I and unconscious bias
- Wellbeing and mental health in the workplace
You also have the option to add additional modules to the core programme to suit your company, culture or line manager needs, some of our additional modules are detailed below:
- Motivating, building and developing your teams
- Coaching essentials
- Recruiting and on-boarding talent
- Change management
- Managing remote and hybrid workers
- Building resilience
- Disciplinary and grievance management
Don't take our word for it, see what one of our clients said about Thrive.
" The line management training series run by Thrive was really well received by all of our team attendees. We had a big group who we split into three cohorts, so it wasn’t a small undertaking. From a logistical perspective, it was all smooth and efficient. In terms of the course content, we had discussed our needs with Thrive ahead of the series, which were then factored effectively into the training. The team most enjoyed the real-life scenarios, open discussion and general interaction and found the session on performance management the most useful. The trainers were lovely, and there was a lot of laughter and general discussion at every session making it really enjoyable as well as extremely useful."
