We carved out our HR careers working with some of the biggest and brightest organisations in the UK. Regardless of size, everyone we work with shares some common traits. They are vibrant, creative and visionary. These values matter to us and it is that energy that keeps us coming back for more.

After leaving corporate HR life, e-volveHR developed from a seed of an idea, nurtured by our founding directors Sarah Stevens and Lisa Hallewell. Together they have 50 years’ experience working at all levels of HR, in a broad range of companies.

Today, e-volveHR specialises in supporting the technology, gaming, sciences and bio-tech sector. The innovation we see every day is truly inspirational. We are driven by the fact that our HR expertise will contribute to your business growth. From there we could see the next life-changing scientific development or technological advance.

We have an infectious enthusiasm for our work, for everything people related and for HR. From the juiciest of strategic HR projects down to simple HR admin, we approach everything we do with focus and energy.


Practical and to the point, we believe in cutting through the noise. There’s no corporate jargon or HR fluff, we believe in honest dialogue. We don’t do BS, we have integrity and do what we say we will.

Sarah Stevens

pragmatic HR Leader with over 20 years’ experience in management roles gained within a range of sectors. Sarah has excellent knowledge of employment law and is particularly skilled in the areas of employee engagement, change management and scaling SME businesses. She has proven expertise in partnering with and influencing senior management. Outside of HR, Sarah loves good wine, topical conversations and Thai food. Her husband and children also feature highly on her ‘things she loves’ list!


Lisa Hallewell

An experienced, ambitious, committed and enthusiastic HR professional with substantial experience of delivering HR interventions in diverse businesses from FTSE 100 organisations to SMEs up to senior executive level. Lisa is business savvy, an exceptional communicator and has the skills to challenge, influence, innovate and deliver within complex and culturally diverse situations. Outside of HR, Lisa is passionate about all things Formula 1, French bulldogs, family and good wine.
